Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant: $70-100K and Benefits

North Palm Beach, FL Full Time

Family living in North Palm Beach, Florida with 6 year old girl is seeking a professional, experienced and educated full-time nanny/family assistant to join their formal residence. The schedule will typically be on Monday – Friday at 11:00am – 7:00pm. The position is for approximately 40-45+ hours per week and requires highly flexible schedule as family’s schedule changes at various times during the year (e.g., summer, school holidays, travel, etc.). Nanny is required to travel internationally and domestically approximately 10-15+ weeks per year. Nanny will be responsible for child approximately every other week. During off weeks, Nanny/Family Assistant will be responsible for completing personal assistant responsibilities (e.g., organizational projects, changing child’s clothes seasonally, take outgrown clothing and items to donation, running errands, travel itineraries for child at various locations of residences and travel, packing child for travel, managing family calendars, assisting house manager with various requests, etc.). Candidates are required to have many years of full-time nanny experience (ideal candidate has experience working in UHNW formal residence), experienced working collaboratively with fully staffed residences and family office, comfortable working with dog, assertive, proactive, resourceful, self starter, organized, detail oriented, hard working, service focused, kind, professional, ability to multi-task and wear many hats, respectful and capable of maintaining discretion. Safe vehicle for transportation is required for position (necessary to get to and from work daily). Nanny is required to have their own living in Florida, but housing will be provided for Nanny while traveling to other residences. Child attends school full-time during regular school year calendar (September-May). Family has many domestic residences (e.g., Martha’s Vineyard, Colorado, Wisconsin, etc.) and yacht. Start date is ASAP, but flexible for the right candidate.


• Experienced working with similar aged children

• Willing to transport children to and from school, scheduled activities, play dates, outings, etc.

• Experienced with meal planning and preparing fresh and healthy meals for child that introduce them to new foods (family has full-time private chef, but some light cooking may be required)

• Willing to pack healthy lunches and prepare school bags for the next day

• Experienced with play-based learning and creating educational activities (e.g., planned engaging activities at home, developmentally appropriate games and activities, engaging projects and crafts, themed weeks, scheduled outings, etc.)

• Willing to assist child with homework and school projects

• Tutor child assisting with homework, school projects, studying for tests, etc. and keep parents informed of progress and needs (ensuring children are managing their assignment due dates, deadlines, etc. is important)

• Support teaching and reinforcement of manners and other social skills

• Provide developmentally appropriate games and activities, engaging projects and crafts at home and schedule/plan fun outings and events

• Responsible for domestic duties relating to child (e.g., washing dishes after meals, assistance with children’s laundry, tidying playroom and bedrooms, etc.)

• Responsible for organizational projects relating to child (e.g., taking toys and clothing to donation, changing clothing seasonally, rotating books and toys quarterly or bi-annually, etc.)

• Responsible for packing child for trips, researching/planning activities at destination and ensuring appropriate gear is available at hotel or vacation house

• Responsible for personal assistant and house management tasks (assisting house manager where needed)

• Comfortable assisting with dog when necessary (e.g., walking, feeding, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Development is most ideal, but bachelor’s degree is required

• 2-5+ years of full-time consistent and recent experience working domestically in similar position

• 3-4 references from professional positions

• Seeking longevity (e.g., 2-5+ year commitment)

• Ability to complete extensive background checks and drug tests (perfect credit is required)

• Safe vehicle for transportation (necessary to get to and from work daily)

• Driver’s license and clean driving record


• $70-100K gross salary (based on experience and qualifications)
